Successful interest, welcome, and orientation meeting at Charles Diplomacy Society.
The Charles Diplomacy Society commenced its activities for the 2026/2027 academic year by hosting a successful welcome, orientation, and interest meeting. The event gathered students keen on international relations to explore the society’s mission of fostering diplomatic dialogue and connecting the leaders of tomorrow.
During the session, the leadership team introduced the core structure of the society, outlining the pillars within the university. Attendees were briefed on the wide array of participation opportunities available, ranging from organizing high-level panel discussions and structured debates to coordinating exclusive institutional and embassy visits.
Following the introductory briefing, the meeting transitioned into an active workshop format. More than 40 students representing various academic disciplines engaged in a World-Café-style brainstorming session. The participants contributed numerous ideas for upcoming events, potential diplomatic mission visits, and prospective student-led publications, as well as upcoming thematic focuses.
As the Charles Diplomacy Society looks forward to a dynamic year ahead, it invites all interested students to become part of this growing diplomatic network. The application process can be accessed here charlesdiplomacy.com/membership
